Women have made valuable contributions to hydroelectric power globally, and this session shines a light on their achievements and the need to continue encouraging women to join this dynamic industry. During this program, Angela Thompkins, vice president and chief diversity officer with CMS Energy, will speak about the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion and her company’s efforts to improve its DEI results. We also will introduce the winner of the 2020 Julie Keil scholarship for women and learn about the Women in Hydropower mentorship program.
